Privacy Policy
Effective: 17 October 2026. This policy covers OfficeClaw Calendar and Mail and this informational website. The application is privately operated by its owner. Privacy and deletion enquiries: alkbael@gmail.com.
Information accessed and purpose
After account authorization, the Google connectors read calendar events and Gmail message headers, sender and recipient information, dates, available message text and attachment metadata. This supports the calendar view, private incoming queue and work the owner requests with selected materials. The current Gmail connector does not download attachment contents.
Storage and access
Imported information is stored in the application's database and backups on the owner's server. Google connection credentials are stored separately from application source code and ordinary workspace records. Imported mail is placed in the owner's private queue. Moving selected information into a business workspace can make that selected information available to users authorized for that workspace.
Service providers and AI processing
The server hosting provider processes infrastructure data needed to operate the application. Cloudflare hosts this public informational site and may process IP addresses and technical request data for delivery and security. This site contains no application mailbox or calendar data and does not add analytics scripts or advertising cookies.
Reading and synchronizing Google sources does not itself enable AI analysis. If the owner invokes AI features with selected materials, those materials may be sent to the model provider configured for that feature. Only materials the owner is authorized to process should be selected. These integrations do not authorize public disclosure of private messages or events.
Google API data use
OfficeClaw's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data must not be sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models. Processing must be limited to the application's user-facing functionality and permitted purposes.
Retention and deletion
The initial mail import window is not a retention limit. Imported records remain until the owner deletes them; backups currently have no automatic time-based deletion schedule. The owner can request or perform removal of imported records, connection credentials and relevant backup copies through application administration. For a deletion request, contact the address above; deleting a record from the active database alone does not remove its backup copies.
Revoking access
You can revoke OfficeClaw's access in Google Account connections. Revocation prevents future authorized API access; it does not automatically erase information already imported. Contact the operator separately to request deletion of stored copies.
Changes
Material changes to data use require this policy to be updated and any additional consent required by the provider or applicable rules to be obtained.
